Stunning location overlooking rainforest and powerful river. Tastefully decorated rooms with great showers. Very welcoming owner. Spotless and tidy, comfortable rooms with sandfly netting. Good kitchen and dining area, with a bonus TV in the room. Beautiful views, clean facilities, and well-cooked meals available. Would recommend for a stopover during long drives.

The location of this hotel is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Buller River and the mountains. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with clean bathrooms and great shower pressure. the owner is friendly and welcoming, providing helpful local advice. the cafe lounge area is cozy, with a roaring fire where you can relax and chat with other guests. the wifi is good, and there is a kitchen available to use. the breakfast in the cafe is delicious, and overall, this hotel offers great value for money.
There was poor cell service in the area, and the wifi was not very fast.

Fine location with amazing views. Tastefully decorated rooms with great showers. Friendly and cute owner. Delicious dinner prepared after late check-in. Homely atmosphere with rich pioneering history. Large, warm and clean room. Cozy cafe lounge area with roaring fire. Beautiful location beside the river.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cute. The location was beautiful, with fine views and a peaceful garden bar. The cleanliness of the hotel was great, withvery comfy and tidy facilities. The showers had great pressure and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel also had good wifi and a delicious breakfast option in the cafe. this hotel provided great value for the price and I would definitely stay here again.
